Lindsey Vonn has had an eventful week, balancing her skiing comeback with high-profile fashion appearances. The 40-year-old Olympic champion trained in Austria before attending Paris Fashion Week, where she graced the shows of Balenciaga and Gabriela Hearst. She then wrapped up her week in Italy, competing in the FIS World Cup before returning home to the U.S.

Reflecting on her whirlwind schedule, Vonn shared an emotional Instagram post, emphasizing the importance of embracing all aspects of her identity. Despite a Did Not Finish in Italy last Thursday, she rebounded on Friday with a strong 13th-place finish in the super-G.

Her performance secured her spot in the World Cup Finals for both Downhill and Super-G, an achievement she never thought possible after her 2024 return to skiing.

Lindsey Vonn, the Olympic skiing great and a Laureus Academy Member, graces the red carpet at the 25th Laureus World Sports Awards. Her presence adds a touch of elegance and sporting legacy to this prestigious event.

Vonn, who underwent knee replacement surgery last year, remains hopeful about competing in the 2026 Winter Olympics. While she acknowledges the challenges of racing at 41, she believes her skiing has improved since her previous years in competition. As she prepares for the World Cup Finals and a race in Sun Valley, her remarkable comeback continues to inspire fans worldwide.
