Charley Hull Fires Final Day 65 to win 2026 PIF Saudi Ladies International.
Charley Hull charged to a fifth Ladies European Tour (LET) title as the 2026 PIF Saudi Ladies International came by one shot at Riyadh Golf Club. This time, the English star had started the day three shots behind the leaders in a three-way tie in 11th only to shoot a 65 (-7) round to claim the clubhouse target of 19-under-par and the 2026 PIF Saudi Ladies International crown. World number five Hull had gone on a run on her back nine and was six-under-par on her final seven holes. “It feels great. Oh, it has passed too fast to-day. I had only two-under 9 holes, and then I made a charge in the back nine, said Hull. It was kyause last time I was here one of my boyfriends told me that I should go out and make loads of birdies to start with. He told me last night get tonnes of birdies coming in, you like running after them and that is what I did. I am very happy and I enjoy this golf court. I am fond of the fact that this golf course has really grown up during the years and it becomes more and more difficult every year. The lawn is becoming higher and I liked it very well. It was a good challenge. After nine holes, I ran into the toilet, and also got some mashed potatoes, so I do not know whether that provided me with a little power to play the back 9 and a high-five by Noah [Alireza]. It is very pleasant to have a result almost immediately and I worked really hard during the off-season, and it is one of the bigger events in the LET. I am a Golf Saudi ambassador, and it is my home event, and it is pleasant to win on behalf of my sponsors. Hull started her final round well, with two and seven-shot birdies in her first and seventh holes, but she lost her touch on the eighth before regaining her form with a ninth-inch birdie to turn in two-under. She also made another bogey on 10, followed by birdie-eagle-birdie on 11, 12 and 13 and another birdie on 15 and 18 to win in Riyadh Golf Club again. Solheim Cup star has been renovating her house and has sent a short video of her new trophy to ensure that it will fit in her new cabinet. She said: I recently recorded a video of the trophy and handed it over to the carpenter and told him to ensure that this trophy fits since it is very heavy. My remodelling is almost finished, and I had to win! I am in anticipation of moving into my home in a few weeks when everything is done and offer my birthday.
South Africa and Japan were also in a tie atop the scoring table with Casandra Alexander and Akie Iwai respectively bringing the week to an end with a share of second place on 18-under-par only one shot behind Hull.
LET victor Alexander started the day with two consecutive birdies on the first and second and a lost shot on 10. She next made three consecutive birdies on holes 11-13 and another one on 15 but regretted to lose one at 17 to be in a playoff.
This has been an excellent start of the season. This week has brought about a lot of positives, and Alexander could learn a few things about the shots, nevertheless, it was not bad in general. That is a fantastic start of the season, the preparation has been good and now I am looking forward to what the rest of 2026 is going to bring me.
World number 25 Iwai shot a 67 (-5) on the last round that had seven birdies and two bogeys.
My playing style in golf is violent. Today I wished to give it [and do it]. Nothing was bad in my game,” Iwai said. My driving, my shots and my putting were good. I three-putted on number 17 but it is not a problem since it is always next week.
“I like the golf course. It has been a beautiful day, the weather is quite different than it was last year. In my hope, this will be make me feel good. I will keep on, smile on my face and play with my heart.
Carlota Ciganda of Spain and Hye-Jin Choi of Korea tied in fourth place with 17-under-par and Mimi Rhodes of England, Ina Yoon of Korea and Nasa Hataoka of Japan finished three behind them in T9.
Within the LET Order of Merit Hull tops the list with 500 points over Alexander in second with 275 and Ciganda in third place with 162.50.
The season of LET takes one week break and then goes to Australia where it spends four weeks of tournaments beginning with the Ford Women NSW Open in the Wollongong Golf Club.
