What’s Next for Charley Hull After Sunningdale Exit? A Look at the LPGA Star’s Upcoming Events.

Charley Hull’s quest for victory at the Sunningdale Foursomes came to an unexpected halt as she and her partner, Georgia Hall, suffered a 4&3 defeat against professionals Tom Shadbolt and Ben Evans. Despite an impressive first-round performance and a dominant morning session, the LPGA stars struggled on the Old Course, unable to match the strength of their opponents. Hall later admitted that playing 36 holes in one day took its toll, making it difficult to sustain their earlier momentum.

Following this setback, Hull is now focusing on redemption in upcoming events. She has officially entered the 2025 FORD Championship, set to take place from March 27-30, according to the LPGA. Last year, Hull was forced to withdraw from the same tournament due to illness, despite a promising start. Fans will be eager to see how she performs this time, hoping for a strong comeback.

Beyond the FORD Championship, Hull is also preparing for the 2025 KPMG Women’s Irish Open, where she will join top players like Leona Maguire and Georgia Hall. The tournament, held at Carton House’s O’Meara Course from July 3-6, marks Hull’s first professional event in Ireland since turning pro in 2013. With a competitive field and high expectations, Hull is determined to make an impact and reclaim her winning form.
