The fact that Camila Giorgi simply vanished off the tennis scene in May 2024, put a lot of eyebrows on it and the latest movement on social media has seen the issue surrounding whether the Italian might be planning an unexpected comeback in 2026 re-emerging as a debate.

The once-ranked No. 26 in the world retired silently, without releasing a official statement on his retirement and this move immediately generated rumours back home in Italy.
