Emma Raducanu Reclaims British No. 1 Spot Just in Time for Wimbledon

Emma Raducanu has reclaimed the title of British No. 1 for the first time in two years. The 22-year-old surpassed Katie Boulter in the rankings after reaching the Queen’s Club quarterfinals, marking a steady return to form in 2025.

Despite not securing a title this season, Raducanu’s consistency has been evident. She’s reached later rounds in Miami, Rome, and Queen’s Club, while maintaining a top-35 WTA ranking. Grand Slam efforts included a third round in Melbourne and second in Paris.

Raducanu withdrew from Berlin due to a lingering back injury, sacrificing key ranking points needed for Wimbledon seeding. She’s now eyeing Eastbourne for preparation, with hopes of another strong run at the All England Club later this month.
