Jordan Spieth Unwinds With Beers and Wings After U.S. Open Struggles

Following a grueling U.S. Open at Oakmont, Jordan Spieth hit Buffalo Wild Wings for a low-key decompression, sharing beers with caddie Michael Greller. “Sometimes,” he said, “you just need to throw a few back.”

The 31-year-old finished T23 after a tough final round, adding to a frustrating major season. Spieth’s Grand Slam bid fell short again at the PGA Championship, and injuries have continued to test his rhythm despite flashes of top form.

Now gearing up for the Travelers Championship, Spieth is focused on consistency, not perfection. Ranked No. 37 in the FedExCup, he’s embracing recovery and routine: “If you can feel good by Wednesday morning,” he said, “we’re good to go.”
