Born on March 13, 1995, in Vail, Colorado, Mikaela Shiffrin showed early promise on the slopes. With a strong family foundation in skiing, she began competitive training by age 8 and enrolled at Burke Mountain Academy at 13.

A Trail of Records and Medals.
Shiffrin debuted on the World Cup circuit at 15 and claimed her first Olympic gold in slalom at 18. She has since become the most decorated skier in World Cup history, with wins in all six alpine disciplines and multiple Olympic and World Championship titles.
