Nelly Korda Blasts PGA Championship Course Conditions as Viewer Ratings Plummet

The 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship saw a sharp 50% decline in final-round viewership, falling to just 428,000. The drop follows public criticism from star golfer Nelly Korda, who called the course setup excessively difficult and unfair.

Minjee Lee clinched the title with a 2-over 74, but player frustration over slow pace and harsh conditions dominated headlines. Korda and Charley Hull both voiced concerns, highlighting tight pin placements and unplayable holes at Fields Ranch East.

Korda, who tied for 19th, withdrew from the Dow Championship, sparking speculation about her season. Despite no wins in 2025, she has four top-10 finishes, including a runner-up spot at the U.S. Women’s Open.
