Nelly Korda is Closer to Immortality in LPGA Hall of Fame.

Nelly Korda is in the fast lane to get one of the greatest honours in women golf and the world No.1 has now been in a position of striking the LPGA Tour Hall of Fame.

Her win in the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of champions earlier this season was not just another trophy but raised her points tally in the Hall of Fame to 20 which made her seven points away instead of the 27 she needs. The criteria associated with the Hall of Fame of the LPGA is associated with a record of excellence, objects of which are the points earned by winning the tournament, major championships, Player of the Year, and the Olympic gold medal.

Her domination is already showing through her career achievements. With 16 titles in the LPGA Tour, two of which were majors, and being named Player of the Year in 2024, and the winner of Olympic gold at the Tokyo Olympics, she has accomplished quite a lot. Her achievement in the game at that level in several seasons has expedited her road to becoming a golfing legend.

Korda is only 27, and she is still in the middle of her prime, but her current course is indicating that it is merely a matter of time before she finds herself in the book of records.

The latest inductee into the Hall of Fame was Lydia Ko, who technically earned the status with her win at the Paris Olympics. The privilege is shown by her induction as the 35th member.

Korda has every reason to believe that she is on the right track to enter that exclusive club and establish herself as one of the contemporary giants in the sport especially with her winsome record and remarkable consistency.
