The T-Mobile Match Play is underway at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas, kicking off five days of competition on Wednesday. The event’s match-play format has already led to surprises, with top-ranked players falling early in group play.

Only two of the top 10 seeds — Jeeno Thitikul (2) and Angel Yin (10) — advanced to the Round of 16. Defending champion Nelly Korda was eliminated after a narrow loss to Ariya Jutanugarn in Friday’s final group match.

The field is now down to 16, with matches continuing through Sunday’s final. Shadow Creek, a top-ranked public-access course, hosts the tournament with its exclusive layout and \$1,250 green fee.
